rapids highlights - 06/25/2009
Rapids T-shirts can be ordered Thursday (6/25) through the end of the meet Saturday (6/27) only! These are the same green tye-dye tees as last summer. Turn in order form and payment to Kathy True or one of the 3 managers. T-shirts will be available for pick up Wednesday (7/8).
“Fun Fridays” start with this Friday’s morning practice! Come to practice to find out just what this means exactly!!
Pep Rally: Come get psyched up for our 1st home meet! We’ll have games, beverages and snacks, crafts, team tattoos, green nail polish. Pizza will be available for a fee. Check out our Wacky Olympics theme!
Team Pictures: Order forms available at Thursday & Friday’s practices and at the pool Friday evening. Individual shots will start at 5:30, and the team photo will be at 6:30 (during the pep rally). Wear your Rapids team suit, or a dark swim suit, for the picture.
Home meet on Saturday! Our team will warm up from 7-7:30. The meet starts promptly at 8 AM. If your child is not planning on swimming, e-mail rapidscoach@yahoo.com ASAP. If you plan on leaving before the relays, please let the clerk of course know because your child may be considered an alternate.
